Standard

  • Standard height of 60cm and depth of 8cm, with output of 0.5kw to 2.0kw. Identified by S in the product name.

Conservatory

  • Ideal for conservatories as they are a lower height. Identified by N in the product name.



High

  • High radiators of 120cm, ideal for a narrow wall space. Identified by H in the product name.

Tiny

  • Ideal for conservatories as they are a lower height and wider. Identified by T in the product name.

How Heizen radiators work


The radiator construction means that they have a virtually unlimited life expectancy. They’re also built with the latest technologies for heat conservation, and their heat distribution capability is extremely efficient. The fluted design of the radiators dramatically increases their surface area for greater heat distribution. Within each radiator, there are up to twenty independent blocks which heat up almost immediately, but cool down very slowly thereafter, acting as a lasting heat source.

Once a room reaches your desired temperature, the thermostat automatically turns the radiator off, but the efficient design ensures that heat is retained for much longer, meaning that the room temperature doesn't plummet as it does with other types of heating systems.

The overall design of Heizen radiators is based on three distinct heat principles:
1. During the heat cycle, some of the heat is stored in the blocks.
2. Warmth is supplied to the body of the heaters by clay cores, and then radiated into the room through the flutes.
3. Cool air is attracted into the flutes from floor level and reintroduced as warm air through the flutes.
The advantage for you is that the radiator only needs to use power for a short period of time, and then the stored heat keeps the room at the required temperature for longer.

Heizen radiators are manufactured by a German family firm who have been manufacturing since 1946, and they take a great deal of care in producing top-quality products.
